Saving names and phone numbers
Names and numbers will be saved in the selected memory, see
Memory in use
in
Selecting the phone book settings
on page
79
.
1. Press
Menu
in standby mode and select
Contacts
and
Add contact
.
2. Key in the name (see
Using traditional text input
on page
45
) and press
OK
to
save it.
3. Key in the phone number, including the area code, and press
OK
to save it.
• If you want to use the phone number while abroad, press
twice (for
the + character) and then key in the country code, area code (omit the
leading zero, if necessary) and phone number.
4. To return to standby mode, press
Done
.
Tip: To quickly save a name and phone number, key in the phone number in
standby mode and press
Save
. Key in the name and press
OK
.
