is the sending profile that the phone will use if you do not select

another profile.

to save the phone number needed for sending text and

picture messages. You obtain this number from your service provider.

Messages sent via

to choose the message type

Message validity

to choose how long the network should attempt to deliver

your message to its recipient (network service).

Default recipient number

to save a phone number where messages are sent by

default when this sending profile is used.

Delivery reports

to request the network to send delivery reports on your

messages (network service).

Use GPRS

to set GPRS as the preferred bearer for sending text messages. When

this setting is

, the phone sends a text message over a GPRS connection if

this is possible.

Reply via same centre

to allow the recipient of your message to send you a

reply message via your message centre (network service).

Rename sending profile

to change the name of the sending profile. The name

of the default profile cannot be changed.

Overwriting settings
When the text message memory becomes full, the phone cannot receive new
messages. However, you can set the phone to automatically replace old messages
with new ones.
